• From a strip mall location in Northern Virginia to a national taqueria _sensation_ that’s been stealing hearts (and stomachs) one bite at a time. _Taco Bamba_ has developed a cult following due to their unique food creations, damn-good cocktails, and commitment to freshness.
• Founded by _James Beard Award_ nominee Chef Victor Albisu, this taqueria redefines typical Mexican street food with out-of-the-box creations — from crispy al pastor spring rolls, to Smashburger tacos, to brisket quesadillas these eats have, and are continuing to, change the foodie game.
• Their Raleigh outpost features an array of unique tacos, tortas, empanadas, and cocktails - but with a Carolina twist. .....sooooo don't be surprised when you see _Cheerwine_ or BBQ-flavored menu items.
• You can order your tacos clean or dirty style here (not how it sounds, we swear....) The clean style is served in a crunchy cabbage cup whereas dirty style is your classic Mexican street taco cooked on a traditional _plancho_ AKA flat-top griddle.
• When it comes to mezcal, this biz _does NOT_ play around. They have their very own private mezcal label distilled for them by _Rey Campero_ in Mexico’s fertile mezcal oasis of Oaxaca; soooo just know, you're sleepin' if you're not sippin' on some bomb-ass mezcal cocktails while you're here.
• And don't worry our fellow early-birds + brunch lovers: this spot offers a whole breakfast menu with classics like breakfast tacos, huevos ranchero, and chilaquiles.
