The Gist

For 21 years, The Flying Saucer has been pouring great beers and covering every bare interior inch with plaques honoring members of their iconic UFO club. (Drink 200 different beers, and you too can get a gold plate on the wall.) In the past few years, they’ve really stepped up their food game, making this a go-to spot not just for brews but for food too.

The Menu

With 200+ beers, The Flying Saucer makes trying new brews both exciting and approachable thanks to their lineup of specialty flights deliberately designed to get you out of your comfort zone. But you wouldn’t want to drink on an empty stomach—luckily, their food menu features seriously good bar food to pair with your beer(s) of choice.

  • MOST POPULAR: You can never go wrong with their buttery _Soft Pretzels_, served with spicy mustard + warm queso. _Nacho Libre_ is another table-pleaser made with spiced Angus beef, guac, chipotle sour cream + all the fixings. Wash it down with one of their _Specialty Beer Flights_.
  • OUR FAVES: With a garlic dry rub, extra-crispy _Isa Wings_ are always a solid choice. For the non-beer drinkers, the _Made_ _in_ _Austin_ is our fave alternative made with pineapple cider, pineapple juice + vodka.
