• Founded by _the_ Chef David Ellis, a former chef de cuisine at Raleigh's beloved _Poole’s Diner._ His newest project, _Figulina_ focuses on bringing fresh handmade pasta to the Triangle.
• Ellis, who is originally from England, has honed his skills in kitchens around the world — meaning he brings his global culinary perspective w him to this spot...and we can confirm, they taught him well.
• And when we say fresh, we mean fresh. Their menu is created w only the best North Carolina’s local harvests, w seasonal ingredients + veggies incorporated into every dish.
• Think unique pastas like rotolo and corzetti, putting a fresh twist on Italian classics (+ if you prefer the classics, obvi they've got plenty of those too.)
• You can even watch ze pasta magic happen in their on-display production room visible to guests. It's giving Willy Wonka's factory, but for pasta — and here's your golden tick...we mean Offer.

We realize that parking Downtown Raleigh can be tricky sometimes, particularly on the weekends. But here are some pro tips:

• There is 2 hr paid parking all along South Harrington Street that is free after 6 pm and free on the weekends.
• The Dillon Parking Deck is located a block away for $2/hr.
• There is paid parking available next to our neighbors, Videri Chocolate Factory, in “The Depot” on W Davie Street.
• You can sometimes find free parking behind Figulina, along Commerce Plaza.
