Boba Baba Cafe owners Justin Lo and Kevin Liu, met at NC State when they were college roomies, and bonded over their shared foodie energy. Post-grad, they said goodbye to tech jobs to pursue their true passion: boba.

This duo didn't just want to create another boba shop, they wanted to create THE boba spot in the Triangle, so they traveled to boba shops in major cities across the US to see how some of the master's were doin' it, and they learned that the tastiest bobas were made with legit ingredients and not powders. Thus, nothing at Boba Baba is artificial, from their bases brewed from real tea leaves and their homemade syrup, to their mochi donuts and cream puffs which are both made in house. Everything here is made with meticulous attention to detail and tons of passion, so it's no wonder why it's allll so damn good.
