Al-Baraka is a family-owned-and-operated Raleigh business that has been cranking out drool-worthy Mediterranean eats for nearly 20 years. Owner Sammy Habta and his brother took over their fam's biz in 2018 and have been serving the same delish eats since then. Everything here is made from scratch, from the dough in their cheesy fatayer to their heaven-sent shawarma. Did we mention that their chicken is literally deboned by hand, and they debone anywhere from 80–120 per day?! They absolutely do not play when they say "made from freakin' scratch."

This spot also doubles as a market and grocery store, so if you're trying to recreate the Al-Baraka magic at home, you def can (just as long as they spill the beans on their fam recipes).
